All participants must wear a properly fitting and fastened PFD while on the water. No alcohol or recreational drugs allowed.
About this event
Come chat on the water with members and guests. Arrive in time to unload your boat, perhaps move your car,and get on the water at 6 p.m. We usually circle the lake at least once, but avoid the bird sanctuary. This is a good opportunity to practice your strokes in a relaxed setting and enjoy the views. If it has been a windy day in Longmont, the water may be choppy with waves. Watch the weather reports and check your email in case the paddle is cancelled for bad weather.
Non-members who are not ACA members must pay the organizer $10 to cover our insurance costs and sign an ACA Waiver. If you are an ACA member, please bring a copy of your card.
